We are delighted to announce that the Garfield Weston Foundation have invited us to become one of their Supported Charity Partners. Their support over the next twelve months will help us help people to see the world in fresh new ways both through our theatre work and creative learning programme.

Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-funded grant-maker that, since 1958, has given away £1.5 billion – half of this in the last ten years. We’ll be one of approximately 1,800 charities across the UK they will be supporting this year. 

With standstill funding lagging behind inflation for many years in both arts and education fields, more and more companies like Stan’s Cafe have been turning to Trusts and Foundations for support. Competition is very fierce, so we are extremely grateful for the trust the Garfield Weston Foundation have placed in us. Unlike many funding opportunities their offer is not tied to any particular project, it is to support our core costs – what needs to happen for ANY of our projects to happen – this makes it especially valuable.

Rest assured we have great plans for the coming year and will be working as hard as possible to reward everyone who has put their faith in us with some amazing artistic experiences.
