Kay lives in Birmingham, has worked for Birmingham Royal Ballet and is now works almost full time at Birmingham Repertory Theatre as a costume and hat designer and maker. She made all the period costumes for The Cleansing Of Constance Brown and at incredible speed dressed the whole of The Cardinals and Any Fool Can Start A War, she designed costumes for The Anatomy of Melancholy, coordinated costuming for Noise into Notes and dressed Billesley School’s comic strip version of Treasure Island. She made a new costume for Brünhilde on stage each night of Twilightofthefreakingods and collaborated with Denise on costumes for The Camp. Further examples of her other work can be seen Here.
