Finger Trigger Bullet Gun: Script

£6.00

Finger Trigger Bullet Gun is an extraordinary play. In rich and powerful language it dramatises political manoeuvrings in Berlin, Vienna and Belgrade prior to the start of World War 1. Then, in an excoriating finale, it reflects from a contemporary perspective the futility of ‘the war to end all wars’.

Commissioned by London International Festival of Theatre and Now 14 – 18 to mark the start of World War 1, Finger Trigger Bullet Gun was written for Stan’s Cafe by noted Serbian playwright Nenad Prokić, his first new play in 25 years. The original production was staged within a map of Europe built using thousands of dominoes. It was performed in London, Birmingham and Novi Sad.
