Made Up & Framed: Scripts

£6.00

Gathered in this volume are two plays mixing film and live performance.

Made Up: Kate, a young film star struggling to cope with the consequences and choices her new found fame brings, is being made up by Sue.

With a failed marriage, estranged daughter and father in need of care, Sue has her own challenges to face.

Together, in the privacy of the make up truck, these two women share confidences and teasing jokes, while helping each other make up their minds what to do next.

This warm, intimate play is about identity, make up and role playing. It makes playful use of slippery time and is structured around a series of live make up transformations.

Framed: In Croydon Clocktower a film is shot with the public’s help and at the gala premiere the screen and reality mingle.
