Stan’s Cafe run Our Facility, an Edwardian former school building in Selly Oak, which offers reasonably priced rehearsal and meeting spaces for arts and learning companies in a friendly atmosphere. The building is open Monday to Friday, 9:30 – 5:30.
We are often asked to donate space in-kind to support early career artists and companies. To satisfy this demand we have set aside an allocation of days available each year – usually in blocks of 1 week (or less).
To request space, please send an email to [email protected] including:
- Details of who you or your company are and why you need in-kind space support
- Dates when you need the space
- Details of what you are rehearsing, including number of people involved and size of space required
- Dates and locations of where the work will be presented (if applicable)
- Any potential funding available to support the space costs at this stage or in the future
- Any PR opportunities you may have to acknowledge the support of Our Facility / Stan’s Cafe
We are genuinely keen to support people and help make things happen. We can’t guarantee the offer of space everyone who asks, but we will do our best.
