In A Heartbeat

Studio Theatre

The operating theatre comes to the theatre to celebrate the wonders of science and mysteries of the human body.

This epic production, planned for 2027 will explore the ethics, practicalities, history, iconography and raw emotions of a heart-transplant. Made in consultation with medics from Queen Elizabeth and Royal Papworth hospitals it will be five hours long, include live music and prove to be a prove to be a beautiful, poetic and meditative experience.
