Summer 2021
Holy Family Catholic Primary School
Returning to school after lockdowns students, needed to learn to enjoy school again, to regain their confidence and communication skills. We were asked to come up with a project that would do achieve this. We thought we could do that as well as give students a useful skill for life – the abiility to tie knots. So years 1, 2 & 3 set off on an imaginary adventure in which being able to tie knots helps them out of all sorts of scrapes.

The impact of Stan’s Cafe has been brilliant amongst the class and is really a key highlight in their week. It gives the children the chance to embrace and explore their imagination as well as learning some key life skills. Can’t thank Craig and Fats enough
