Our first year working with Washwood Heath Academy was a bit experimental as we started to learn how to be ‘in residence’ in a secondary school for the first time.

Geography Revision.
With Mr.Barns we ran a revision lesson for Geography using drama techniques.

World War 1 Dominoes.
A day of activities focus around World War 1 included a fake trench installation and a dominoes making and toppling project. This was a big enough project to get its own webpage

Geography Comic Life.
With Year 7 we tried an ambitious day’s activity using the application Comic Life to illustrate the topic of earthquakes, this worked well up until the school’s computer system tried to cope with a class of students all trying to use the application at the same time.

Teacher Training.
We ran a number of teacher training sessions including one using Scalextric.
