Sandwell & West Bromwich
How would you build a more healthy neighbourhood? A huge new hospital is being built on the boarder of Sandwell and Birmingham and we were commissioned by Sandwell Cultural Educaiton Partnership to work with some young people from the area thinking and making art about health and architecture.
When archiecture is in the offing we jump on the hotline to our Associate Artist Mr. Yinka Danmole, once of these parts. He kindly agreed to lead Year 5 at Galton Valley Primary School and students from Sandwell College on a project to act as archtecture firms pitching designs for a new neighbourhood promoting healthly lifestyles. On the project’s last day the college students visited the primary school and everyone worked together to complete the plans.
