This ambitious project with the Geography Department’s GCSE students asked them to think about and present lots of important ideas around and facts about the shifting of techtonic plates, volcanoes and the disasters that can follow. Our challenge to the students was to create a Newsnight style video relaying this information. The project involved four classes, so it was a frantic few days but the video ended up being a lot of fun and packing in some key messages.
