This was the third family concert Birmingham Contemporary Music Group invited us to ‘animate’. The Pathways and Places programme comprised:

Path to Othona by Simon Bainbridge.
Dark Ground by Tansy Davies.
In Situ by Edmund Finnis.
Runes from a Holy Island by Peter Maxwell Davies.
Music to go by Betsy Jolas.
Six Journeys to Stillness by Duncan Chapman (world Premiere/BCMG commission
The theme of the concert was music inspired by places and journeys.
