…for the Live Art fan in your life. Adrian Heathfield and Tehching Hsieh‘s beautiful book, Out of Now, which documents Tehching Hsieh’s amazing Life/Performance pieces: 1 year in a cage, 1 year punching a time clock on the hour (every hour), 1 year tied to a stranger by a rope, 1 year outside.

There are a few essays Etc in it but mostly it’s just beautiful pictures and design; a kind of avant-garde coffee table book, not least because it’s sturdy enough that if you attached legs to each corner it could serve as a decent coffee table.

Currently there’s a good deal if you buy the DVD as well. I’m not on commission, just trying to spread the love.
