Charlotte’s just been slagged off by the VAT office. She found a message on the office answerphone asking us to call HM Revenue and Customs – never a exciting message to find. She calls them up and they berate her for paying out VAT bill TOO EARLY in December. You can’t win with the tax office, perhaps the best you can wish for is not to lose.
