Roehampton Lecture

Today the Anatomy of Melancholy swung into Lancaster University and I looped down to Roehampton University to give one of my lecture/talk routines to a gang of First Year Theatre Students. The brief was loose, ‘tell them about your job, what you do day-to-day’, the course is about starting to prepare them to go into the world of work, introducing them to what that may be like and what may be possible. It always feels ridiculously self-indulgent talking to a captive room of students about Stan’s Cafe, but I was just doing what I’d been asked to do. It was fun. In case you were one of those students and you forgot your pen here is a copy of my notes.
