At the heart of the Victoria Academies Trust is Central England Teacher Training. Their offer is to train primary school teachers who wish to place creativity and the arts at the heart of their practice. We are delighted to have been invited to contribute to the student’s training.
2016
September: students participated in a City Adventure training day on the streets of Birmingham.
November: students were invited, in small groups, to sessions sharing creative ideas for their forthcoming school placements.
March: students watched an exemplar puppet making lesson, made their own puppets and then created their own puppet shows, considering the learning that could be drawn from these performances.
