Around Birmingham a few schools are back after the summer holidays but for the majority the end of this week has been teacher time with students in for the first time on Monday. We have been limbering up along with the teachers this week as well.
On Wednesday we ran one of our City Adventure days with Central England Teacher Training. Their bright eyed new intake of future primary school teachers were brimming with ideas and enthusiasm. Thursday was all about Billesley Primary School. We met with the teaching teams from Year 1 to Year 6 concentrating on the topics they are least looking forward to teaching in the coming year. Today we were back to the City Adventure Day with teachers from Tiverton Primary School.
Meanwhile Mick has been taking advantage of break in theatrical activities @ A E Harris to log and PAT Test a load of cables, lanterns and other electrical kit.
Today Jon has been at Moseley Private Park most of the day preparing for The Commentators to appear at the Moseley Folk Festival over the weekend – we are having our first attempt at using Periscope to webcast the commentators so fingers crossed and log on tomorrow from 11:00 if you can.
