Bideford

The Burton at Bideford reopens after three months of enforced closure with an exhibition called Seeds Of Hope. They asked us if we would create a version of Of All The People In All The World to sit alongside newly commissioned works by Freya Gabie working with Jessica Holtaway and a selection of the gallery’s collection especially curated by Red Herring Productions.

This small version of the installation focuses on life in Bideford, North Devon and the South West through politics, history, work and leisure. The impact of Covid-19 is reflected on in both local and national statistics. In contrast to whimsical and witty combinations of statistics the show delivers a powerfully direct section linking slavery, civil rights and racial inequality both in the US and UK.
