Grow Festival – Corby

We were very happy to be part of the 2019 Grow Festival in Corby, a weekend of outdoor arts this year themed around food, an essential ingredient for growth. We were not outdoors with the rice bit in a vacant shop unit in the heart of the shopping centre, a prime location and very welcome on the Saturday which was rather rainy after having had the hottest day of the year on Thursday.
The food theme gave us a nice focus for the show with statistics about agriculture, allotments, vegetarianism and The Great British Bake Off. We were also able to statistially celebrate Corby’s steel heritage and its diverse population, which includes a large proportion of people with Scottish heritage.
